Ancient Greek Horse Collection
These beautiful handmade brass horse statues were the founding inspiration for Sun when designing the Dare to Live programmes and some of you may remember when they were the logo!
The Ancient Greeks portrayed the prowess of the warriors through imagery of magnificent horses that have mythical powers beyond normal human abilities. All Dare to Live participants are awarded a mini version of these statues as a positive resource they can cary with them on a daily basis, to remind them that they too are this beautiful gold horse underneath all the life challenges that they have experienced.
Each horse is decorated with beautiful line-work; the horse’s graceful curved neck and proud pose add to the striking stature of this piece and remind us to honour the ‘in service work’ our first responders do.
